While there are many keys to success, there is not a basic formula everyone can follow to achieve a massive amount of it. If that were the case, then everyone would be rich and famous. Of course, some people want it more than others, and that is the biggest difference.
With that said, there are certain things you should do every day to add more success to your life. Being successful is all about being consistent, doing the same things every day for an extended period of time until you see the results.
Therefore, if you add the three things below to your life, you will, in a sense, add more success to your life, even if said success doesn't come instantly.
3 Things You Should Do Every Day To Add More Success To Your Life
- Be An Early Bird
- Stick To A Plan
- Become A Goal-Oriented Person
Be An Early Bird
Not only does the early bird get the worm, but the early bird gets to work when there are minimal distractions. If you make it a habit of starting your work early in the morning, then you will find that you will be able to finish more work in a shorter amount of time -- you will become more productive.
After all, during the early hours of the morning (let's say between 4 and 7 a.m.), most people aren't required to respond to emails or follow orders. During this time, you can simply focus on your work, and only your work.
On top of being the most productive version of yourself by knocking out work before the sun even comes up, you will have more time to do the things you love, which could be a passion project or working on your craft that will hopefully lead to your dream job in the future.
"I'm an early bird, partly because I like to have some quiet time and partly because by 9am emails begin arriving, the phone starts ringing and I have dragons to kill of one sort or another." -- Andrew Motion
Stick To A Plan
No matter what industry or career you are trying to conquer, you have to stick to a plan. If you do this, then you will have a better idea of how long certain tasks will take, and your day will be less of a mystery. This is a good thing when it comes to getting all of your work done in a timely fashion.
Sticking to a plan is how you achieve your goals and dreams. You can't just wing that process. If you stick to a plan, then the day-to-day grind will be easier to manage, and you won't get behind on your work. What does this lead to? Likely less stress and worry.

Become A Goal-Oriented Person
A goal-oriented person is virtually someone who makes their goals their entire life. Everything they do is helping them toward their goals. If they are doing something that isn't helping them achieve their goals, then they drop this thing, whether it is a habit, a project, a job, a person -- you name it.
While you don't have to make your goals your entire life, and you don't have to become the goal-oriented person to end all goal-oriented people, you should make your goals and dreams a bigger part of your life.
At the end of the day, if you are unfulfilled, if you are not happy with what you are doing, then you need to make some changes. This is your life and you deserve to live it the way you want to live it -- no one can take that away from you.
"If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things." -- Albert Einstein
The sooner you become a goal-oriented person, or at least make your goals and dreams part of your life, the sooner you will be the happiest version of yourself.
