How serious are you about your goals? Do you simply go through the motions every day and accept the hand you have been dealt, or do you live a goal-oriented life that features you focusing in on your goals every single day?

No matter what side of the line you stand on, we will be unleashing a four-step process that will help anyone -- yes, anyone -- achieve their goals. If you follow this four-step process on a daily basis, and keep moving forward in hustling fashion, then you will, in time, achieve your goals.

4-Step Process To Achieving Your Goals

  • Figuring Out What You Want
  • Creating Your Goals
  • Attaching Deadlines And Plans To Your Goals
  • Never Giving Up

Figuring Out What You Want

The first step is figuring out what you want. What do you want to achieve in the short-term and long-term future? Who were you meant to be? While these questions aren't typically answered overnight, you have to brainstorm what you really want in life, and then base your goals off of that.

Do you want a raise at work? Do you want to switch professions altogether? This is for you -- and only you -- to answer. Nonetheless, if you want to achieve success in life, no matter how big or small, you have to figure out what you want and then create your goals.

"Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams." -- Ashley Smith

Creating Your Goals

Now that you have figured out what you want, it's time to create those goals.

With that said, you have to get very detailed with your goals. You can't simply say you want to make more money, lose more weight, quit your job or whatever it might be. You have to say you want to make $5,000 more in 2017, lose 10 to 20 pounds by December, and you can't simply quit your job until you have another one lined up.

You have to get very detailed with your goals. After that, then you can attach deadlines and come up with a plan.

Attaching Deadlines And Plans To Your Goals

If you don't attach deadlines next to your goals, then they might as well be dreams, because there is no specific timeline when you should be accomplishing them. If you don't attach deadlines, then how are you supposed to hold yourself accountable to them? If you don't attach deadlines, then life will happen and your goals will be placed on the back burner, with no deadline in sight.

On top of that, you have to come up with a plan for your goals. You literally need to force your goals into your life, into your days. You can achieve this feat by adding your goals to your schedule. Even if it is just for 30 minutes a day, you need a very specific time to work on your goals.

If you don't force your goals into your life, then, once again, life is going to happen, and you can't simply say something along these lines: I will work on achieving a certain goal tomorrow, or next week. Add an actual time to these goals, and hold yourself accountable to that time. If you don't work on that goal at that time, then the world will end. That's the kind of mindset you have to have if you really want to achieve your goals and dreams.

Never Giving Up

You have figured out what you want, you have made your goals and you have come up with deadlines and a plan of attack ... now the real journey begins. Now is the time to put your money where your mouth is.

You say you want to be something else, chase a certain dream and make some major changes in your life. Great! Then do it. If you really want something, then you will stop talking about it and actually make the necessary changes to make it happen.

Gone is a life filled with excuses. Here is a life filled with you taking action and holding yourself accountable to your goals and dreams. No one is going to achieve them for you -- always remember that. If you want a change, and if you want your life to be better than it is, then you have to make the desired changes.
